Galaxy Studios is a leading provider of music recording studios and motion picture post-production services in Europe. Every year, renowned national and international artists from the music and motion picture industries visit their studio complex in Mol, Belgium.
However, internal communication of projects was a challenge within the walls of Galaxy Studios. Personnel sought a better overview of project agendas, while freelance musicians desired more information on the projects they worked on. To address this, I created the “Coming Up!” newsletter.
This newsletter introduced every project coming to Galaxy Studios. Personnel and freelancers received a specially designed email containing all project details, enabling them to know exactly who was visiting the studio and what to expect from the project.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, especially from the freelance musicians of the Brussels Philharmonic. They were finally informed in advance about the type of movie they would be scoring, and they began actively sharing the newsletter on their social media profiles. This generated some extra exposure to Galaxy Studios which in return created a higher brand awareness.
